The Problem
When Fiat of Olathe reached out to us, they needed their facility upgraded to meet their growing needs. They had an outdated space that was inefficient and not up-to-date with modern automotive construction standards. They totally lacked a building to display their models, and didn’t have a space where they could service vehicles and work on maintenance. They found themselves in a position where they didn’t have the display room to sell cars, and didn’t have the maintenance facility to fix them either. That’s when they got in touch with Rothwell.
The Solution
Rothwell Construction was able to provide a comprehensive solution to Fiat of Olathe’s needs. After acquiring the required legal documentation and forming a plan, Jeff Vanderpool took the wheel as Senior Project Manager and Superintendent Noel Ross supervised the project.
After the necessary demolition work, we evaluated the frame with our professional architects and engineers. After verifying that it was in excellent condition We designed and built a custom automotive facility that was both efficient and aesthetically pleasing. We entirely reconstructed the interior and installed a new side entrance canopy for the service ride-up. Finally, we finalized the exterior with American fiber cement panels and aluminum composite panels, making the building tough and eye-catching.
With our combination of modern materials, LEED-certified construction methods, innovative energy-saving practices, and visually appealing design philosophy, we created a space that is both functional and beautiful.
